International human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell signs Sirisuk Declaration
Leading international civil rights campaigner Peter Tatchell today (1st October 2010) signed the Sirisuk Declaration.
Mr Tatchell said, “Politicians must give a lead by cutting their own income and expenditure. They should also cut down to size the fat cats who are creaming off the still burgeoning profits of many big corporations.”

For more than a third of a century, Peter Tatchell’s writing and activism has made a major contribution to the public awareness and acceptance of homosexual human rights. In recognition of his efforts, he was nominated for the 1992 Martin Ennals Civil Liberties Award, and the Mike Rhodes Award in 1995. In 2001 he went one step further – winning the Mike Rhodes Award for his endeavours in the field of human rights. Continue reading
